Share your expertise on alternative methods to animal testing via the RE-Place platform

RE-Place is a scientific project coordinated by the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and Sciensano that aims to collect the available expertise on alternative methods to animal testing, also known as “New Approach Methodologies (NAMs)”, in one central database.

Today, the RE-Place database contains over 170 methods from different research fields and organisations in Belgium.

An optimized version of the online tool was recently launched to collect even more knowledge on NAMs as there is far more expertise out there. With the optimized version, it is now possible to create ‘Groups’ in the online tool and link your expertise with a particular (research) Group.
